    Preparation before installing

    Check the joint face of each part for Suspension, clean up sundries, such as dirt & burrs.

    Installation of the Trunnion Block Assembly & Leaf Spring Assembly

    1.Put the leaf spring assembly on the Trunnion block; align the recess of Trunnion block with the bottom of Leaf spring assembly, meanwhile align the positioning cylinder of Leaf spring central Bolt with positioning hole of Trunnion block.
    2.Put the top plate on the Leaf spring assembly, and then insert the U-bolt (M36-8.8). If the U-bolt is out shape, please install it after regulating (the screw thread & surface of U-bolt must be protected well by soft bolster when you regulate it. If there is scratch for the surface, maybe it will be occurred crack).
    3.Tighten the Nut (M36-8) crisscross by several times to Rated Torque Value. Nut tightening Torque: M36-8.8 M=1555N.m

    The most wearing parts to make maintenance of bogie axle such as: greasing, composite bush or brass bush, rubber seat for the leaf spring cover, U-bolt etc. Remember to make the central balance beam sealed very well after maintenance, because once sand or dust enter the beam, it will damage very soon. Especially in SAUDI ARABIA where sand too much. The brass bush price is expensive than composite bush or steel bush, and its use life is more longer. You have to greasing the composite bush often. The top mounting plate should welding very strong rather than bolt tightening torque.

    After the vehicle runs on asphalt road in summer, muddy road after raining or other severe environment, should pay mention to the cleaning of the air spring and piston. Check whether the surface of air spring is free of damage (crack, wearing, wrinkle, surface foreign of matters). If find damage or leakage of air spring, please change the air spring immediately. Check the fastening conditions that the air spring is connected with bolts. If any loosing occurs, fasten it according to the torque.
