What kind of tires are suitable for semi trailers?
Normally use 11.00R20, 12r22.5. 315/80R22.5 and 385/65R22.5 are both ok.
It is accepted by many large transport companies because of its large capacity and high efficiency. However, when the three axle trailer runs about 30000 km, the abnormal tire wear occurs in varying degrees. With the increase of vehicle mileage, the wheelbase deviation of some axles will change
(1) The U-bolt is loose;
(2) The axle assembly is deformed when driving under abnormal conditions;
(3) The suspension guide is damaged. Because the vehicle in the process of driving, uneven road, sharp turns and other reasons, especially the rubber sleeve of the guide rod is easy to damage. The guide rod is an important part of the axle positioning system. If the rubber sleeve of the guide rod is damaged, the positioning of the left and right ends of the axle will be affected, resulting in the deviation of the wheelbase. Therefore, the wheelbase of trailer should be adjusted periodically.

At present, 11.00R20 steel wire tire and 12.00r22.5 vacuum tire are the most common ones in the market, which are widely used in flower basket, standard car, rollover dump and all kinds of dangerous chemicals vehicles. 12.00r22.5 vacuum tire is the most common one with good long-distance road conditions, and the pattern is mostly 3-or 4-track.
The road condition is poor. Short distance can be equipped with 11.00R20 steel tire or 12.00r22.5 block flower series vacuum tire. At present, 12r22.5 and 12 layer vacuum tire are mostly used to meet the user’s announcement, but in practical application, 16 layer and 18 layer vacuum tire are mostly used.
